Zoombezi Bay is so much fun! Whether you like the thrill of water slides or lazing down the"river" on a tube raft, or jumping over waves in the wave pool, or laying out in the sun, or hearing your kiddos scream with glee as a humongous bucket of water dumps out and drenches them, Zoombezi has it all. The slides are very fun. The park is not too big, so it's easy to get around. Lockers for rent inside are kinda pricey, but handy. There's a changing area inside. They've done a good job to make it feel like a fun-in-the-sun vacation day. Lots of areas for kids to play too.

Great Fun only complaint is that it can be hard to find a spot for your belongings. Other than that.. Great fun, we live the wave pool the most

We had an adult day at which we spent most of our time in the adult lazy river. Very disappointing as there weren't enough rafts, that they didn't come with cup holders and the worst was that the water was disgusting So Disgusting full of debree. We reserved a cabana and our order was forgotten about so we had to wait for almost 30 minutes before we buzzed for service just to get One cookie for the lateness.

It was okay. The lines were super long, just to ride a 30 second water slide we had to wait 1 hour 30 minutes. In the smaller pool some kid threw up and they closed the pool so we got out but when we passed it again five minutes later it was open again? The staff was asking the zoom pass people if they were single riders and would let them go before it was their time but wouldn’t do the same for the regular line. Over the announcements it would give weight limits and such but there wouldn’t be a visible sign that I could see before you got into the slide. The wave pool was absolutely packed full with little kids even in the very deep side so the waves weren’t very high. We stayed there from 2:30 to 7:30 day and rode only two slides. The food prices were outrageous and to buy simple meals for four people was $50. If you asked for no tomato’s or lettuce they would take it off the already cold premade burger and give it to you. They put signs over the glass in front of the food so you can’t see what the staff is doing to the burgers. He had to touch and lift up the buns of the burgers to find one without bacon. The lazy river was also jam packed with screaming little kids and you wouldn’t be able to move much due to the influx of tubes

Attached to the Columbus Zoo, Zooombezi Bay is a great waterpark with a nice selection of little kid and grown up activities, food, and drink. Having it be inside of the Zoo (separate admission of course) really invreases the potential for having an eventful and fun trip with options.

A lot of fun for everyone in the family. Wear water shoes! The lazy river was warm. A lot of the water had a warmer temperature.

The website says 26 slides and I believe them. There is a good mix of slides with some going into a 10 foot drop. The wave pool is great for family's and they have a kid pool and baboon lagoon which was more fun than I expected. I bought a season pass for $495 which was $105 a piece and $70 for kids under 10. You can also bring snacks, drinks, and sandwiches. To be honest I don't know why you would buy a pool in Columbus with the water park here.

Very fun place! Would highly recommend to families! A little bit of everything a water-park has to offer. Big Slides, Lazy River, Wave Pool, Giant Bucket! All here at the Bay!

My girls absolutely love this place and we visit minimally once a week, but often more throughout the summer. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the inconsistency of the life guards enforcing the rules, especially in the Roaring Rapids attraction. There are signs clearly posted throughout the attraction that say no active swimming or horseplay yet my daughters and I have been run into and splashed several time by kids (typically teens) that are actively swimming and horse-playing while the lifeguard just watches on does nothing about it.

The Baboon Lagoon kids' area is so much colder than everything else. Makes it hard with a small one who can't ride the big slides, and won't go in the kid area because it's so cold. Wave pool, roaring river and tiny tides were nice for kids

The adult lazy river that serves alcohol is a dream come true on a hot summer day! Just make sure you're wearing your shirt at the entrance or they will not let you in. I found that out the hard way and had to cross four large parking lots just to walk back to the car, grab my shirt, walk back, and take it off after I paid at the gate.

There's a waterpark, zoo and aquarium. We went to the zoo and the waterpark. It was really good. They had a bunch of rides for the whole family. And the zoo was really good too.

If I could give it 3.5 stars I would.. Only do to we waited in line for about 45/50mins. To ride the water ride. The fast track people with their bands got to go ahead of everyone so made the wait even longer after they would ride it and run back up to ride it again before you got your turn ..

I got the tickets half off, otherwise I don't think it would be worth the price. There are just enough attractions for me to consider this a water park. The kids jungle gym water park areas are pretty elaborate, but there aren't many options for rides for pre-teens.

It's a clean water park that is great for the kids and we enjoyed it too. There are two areas that are for the kids and one of them is targeted for the very little ones. The adult only (21 and up) lazy creek is great to kick back and float around with your favorite drink. They're expanding the lazy creek for next year and I am sure it will be even better than it is now. I suggest for little swimmers that the parents use an available life jacket in the wave pool, lazy river and the kids 3ft deep pool. The action in these can be a bit rough but so long as your with your child there will be no issues. Have fun!

I love this water park, it probobly has the best water rides ever.

This place is great for adult to come and unwind in the lazy river or just have a brew. Kids have endless fun with water slides everywhere a wave pool and much more. Great for any size family. Price is right so what are you waiting for go enjoy yourself at zoombezi bay!

A fun place to spend with family while cooling off in hot summer sun

Too crowded and OVERPRICED. Wasn't much to do for an adult as well as lack of floaties. The lazy river for adults was too small and just wasn't comfortable. I think they should bring back rentals for floaties. They didn't have enough lockers and were charged the same expensive price for the old Wyandotte lockers, which didn't fit hardly anything in them. The zoom passes for rides were ridiculously expensive for still waiting 15+minutes to ride a ride.

Well kept, clean, life guards maintain order, nice assortment of foods to choose from (although a bit pricey$$$)& if you like water, there's PLENTY to keep you entertained & happy!

Something to do for all ages and swimming experience levels. Clear concept of saftey and all equipment is provided (vests, floatation devices, etc.) so no need trying to pack and keep track of things. Would be 5 stars but the food quality/taste mainly for price was lacking. Burgers were not good. We only tried one vendor inside so maybe its just that one.

Good day overall. Plenty to do with a family with small ones. Refills for cups available throughout zoo and water park. Water in the kids section was freezing cold! I dont know that they have any control over that but my daughter was absolutely freezing and salty. The rest of the water in the park was plenty warm enough

The grandkids had a fantastic time. So many wonderful.parents with their children and family's. Great atmosphere.

Me and the family had a wonderful experience we had a blast went on so many wonderful rides the one where we really wanted to go on kept breaking down that was the log ride and we wished the deep end of the wave pool what's open for a tall person it was kind is for a tall person it was kind of hard kept getting scrape marks all over my knees

Lots of fun. Went on a week day and still lines over an hour. If someone pays an extra $25 they get to skip the lines which means you wait longer.

First time here its not super packed compared to other places. Lines are fairly quick and the people are nice. Would come again.

Zoombezi Bay is so much fun for the whole family from toddlers to adults! Its always safe. There are lockers $10 to rent. Decent food. Or pack a few small snacks in a soft sided cooler. Be sure to get there early especially on the weekends,its hard to find a place to sit.

All in all I'm not impressed. The water park part had some bad staff, seemed cramped, prices for food and drinks were sky high. The raft to hold onto for one of the more dangerous water slides called "The Cyclone" was hard for me to hold onto at the speed and force it was going. I nearly lost my grip, and my life or could have been injured. The adrenaline rush was fun. There wasn't any sign until AFTER the main entrance that alcohol will be confiscated. Confiscated, (of property) taken or seized with authority. Mind you, confiscated NOT thrown away or dumped! Yep, that's exactly what happened. Most of the animals didn't seem happy, although I didn't get to see all of them. The wolves seemed most happy, they had new pups which is good because they're endangered. I'd give the place 1 or 2 stars.

Wow, this place is pretty amazing! My kids LOVED the wave pool! We also loved the lazy river and the entire area for toddlers. The price is not bad at all considering you get admission to Zoombezi Bay, the aquarium, and the zoo! Staff was all very friendly and helpful! Food and drinks are pricey, but it's to be expected. We had a really great time and definitely will be back!

Danger: Cryptosporidiosis Parasite hazard. May as well plan to be ill for a few weeks after your visit, and buy lots of toilet paper. Don't expect a dime in compensation. So over-chloronated it will literally change your hair color and bleach your swimsuit. There is no way you can keep from swallowing water in the wave pool. You will be thrown around. It should be fun. Instead, it was lame & whole family got sick.

A fun family day place. Food is expensive, but that is expected, but you do have the option of packing a cooler and bring your own food.

It was super hot when we went and their were a TON of people wasn't able to get on any slides and my kids couldn't get in the baboon Lagoon water was pretty warm too but other than that I would go again maybe on a weekday haha

48” is the magic magic number to ride all the rides, and my 3 young girls who are all over 48” had a blast going off on their own.

CRAZY crowded on the day we went. Heat index was over 100 deg that day.Animals were still out in the zoo. Great time was had by all

Average water park. Get there early to get a good spot. Not bad for going on a Wednesday. Couldn't imagine going on the weekend. Don't think they got a capacity limit here

Loved it! The food prices were really good for a water park, the beer prices were very high. My family enjoyed everything the park had to offer. The long lines were abit annoying but it was 90 degrees on a summer's day. I would definately go back.

Great fun! Lazy river, wave pool, kids water park area, an adults only area, and large water slides! Food is good, and they have cabanas you can rent for the day. When you get admission to the water park you can also go visit the animals in the zoo!

So much fun. The cyclone ride is the best one for me. I suggest you to go on week days. Weekend usually get crowded.

This place is the best for your buck. I agree that the food is expensive. But not any more expensive than your state fair or a big amusem*nt park. Definitely cheaper than a concert or venue event. But at least you can't bring food and wat at a picnic area. Attentive life guards. Something for every one. Definitely worth the season pass price.

Fun, friendly and enjoyed our time. We did the 2 day pass and absolutely enjoy the option of being able to visit both the waterpark and zoo on the same day if we decided.

I wish the restrooms and pools were more accessible. Most ADA stalls were closed or being used as changing rooms for families.

Great mix of rides as well as kids rides while also having an adults only area - something for everyone!

Have to find a way to process riders faster. Some rides are not worth the wait. Other than that it's nice.

This place has awesome water rides, and it is VERY well operated! Do not hesitate to invest your time, it is worth it!

Was extremely disappointed. The lady at the front wouldnt let my two year old daughter into the park because she didn't have shoes. Then on top of it was EXTREMELY rude. But besides that it was awesome. But maybe yall need to rethink who you hire.

Had a great time with my family. Next time i am getting a zoom pass. I was there from 11 to 7 and the lines were so long for every ride. I think it is like 16 dollars a pass. Definatly would have been worth it.

We get a season pass here every year. It is much cheaper than a private pool membership and pretty much the same. While the food is a little on the pricey side, the beer prices are really good, especially if you get the reusable cup for refills. The addition of Otter Banks last year provides some great new slides, and the new street taco stand is seriously legit.

I love that fact there's something to do for everyone and you can buy alcohol here

Awesome water park. You should not take your own food and beverages inside there's a spot outside where you can leave them now and go out to eat. The food inside of course is much much more expensive. When you're on the zoo side of the park you're allowed to take food from outside anywhere

It's a typical water park other than it is right next to a zoo. Can be a little too popular throughout the year.

Wonderful experience at this water park! We rented a cabana for the day and it was worth it for our group of 8. Plenty of activities for kids to do. Food was pretty standard for a water park, don't expect anything gourmet.

Waited 2 and a half hours in line for ONE attraction. Water was warm as heck. Park was entirely to packed and lines to long you alsobhad to pay extra for some attractions which was upsetting especially for the wait. Never again will I visit here

Well worth the time spent after a hot day at the Zoo.

Very disappointed that every time we visit (6x so far this summer), multiple waterslides are closed, especially in Baboon Lagoon. This leaves limited slide options for children under 48 inches tall. Zoombezi Bay mgmt must do better and open 100% of the park during peak season.

It was very fun but the down side is that the lines were long, and people with the zoom pass get to pass the whole line. But one group got on the same ride 4 times whlie we where in line waiting for our first. Food prices where too high and some of the life guards where totally mean to people. Most of thr staff looked happy. And were nic all of the staff that i asked where something was they knew where it was exactly. The locker fee is 10 for a small. And custom codes. Most of the line wait was half an hour or longer.

Love zOombezi bay!! Just wish the lines weren't so long everyday.

My children and their children all had a wonderful time! I really appreciate the staff friendly smiles an attitude! We will definitely be making another visit soon......

Food and drinks are very expensive plenty enough crowd to make $$ with lowering prices..! Most of all the zoom pass is a very expensive joke!! I highly advise any and everyone to not purchase this!! Save $$ for your outrageous food and drinks...

Has a splash pad for babies to three year olds (although big kids can ruin this area being wild) but the water is moderately cold, very nice temperature my 6 month old seemed to enjoy herself sitting here until she kept getting splashed in the face by the older kids. There is a separate area for kids 4 + and it is AWESOME, my 6 year old really loves it, although I find the water here to be way too cold. The lazy river is my obvious favorite as a parent

Had a great time! It was not as crowded as I anticipated, but it Is early in the year. I would recommend going as it's a great place to relax in their lazy river, and wave pool.

Lots of fun! Slides and park are great but the way they run the Zoompass and line situation I think should be done differently! To ride a water slide you are standing in line for more than an hour. That is a little ridiculous!

Fine for Little KidsMy grand kids lived it. The park was too crowded and noisy, but all was clean and in order.

Very fun a family-oriented place except for some of the outfits that some of these women are allowed to wear in front of these kids I find that a bit of pawling I don't know if it's possible to have some kind of dress code some of them are just outrageous

The lines were crazy because we didn't spend extra for a zoom pass, but still got on a few slides. I do not recommend eating the boneless buffalo wings at the donatos stand... they are haunting me still a day later. Beer was cold and you can drink and float down the lazy river, but pricey ($10 for a domestic draft). Well, I guess everything there is pricey lol. Overall a good day at the water park.

Absolutley no-refund on waterpark tickets!! My little girl has been hospitalized and all the lady on the phone would say was I should have read the disclosure... Amercia's Cold-hearted Corporate policies at their finest. . .

We had a great day. The park is clean, plenty of seats, places to get out of the sun if needed and the food was good and priced well.

The rides are fun, but no ride is worth the wait. We went on a Monday which is less busy than weekends, but the lines were still long (really more slow than ling, but I'll get into that). It takes forever for the line to move because there is such a big gap in time between rides. I'm sure this is a liability thing and they want to clear the landing area, but there has to be a more efficient system. Unfortunately, I don't think they care. Their main concern, naturally, is profit. All the mechanical rides (kiddie rides you would find at a county fair) are a separate cost, and barely anyone was riding them. If they got rid of those and built a few more water rides the lines would thin out.Looking on the bright side, the lines for the body slides thinned out in the last hour, and I was happy to ride those as they are the most intense rides in the park. Apparently people avoid them due to a combination of their sheer intensity and also the feeling that you are sliding down a cheese grater (I'll bring a shirt next time).

Fun day! Spent the "last day of summer" and it was nice. Pretty much everything open. We only noticed 1water attraction (some kind of water obstacle course) not open. All slides were rocking, guards doing a their jobs. I'd have to assume this is tough with college kids (often seasonal employees) are back at school. They definitely kept everyone's safety in mind (shut down for ~gour while it stormed) but got to ng again quickly. They had to shut down a second time with an approaching storm, but I was confident that it wasn't too early (we weren't sitting there under sunny skies) or too late (plenty of time to gather belongings and make it out. Lost a star for lacking clear maps/directions at the water park (can't carry a map with me) and waiting to get concessions (we were the only ones in line....they were in the back sitting down and not paying attention). Overall a fun day.

I was here for the festivities this past Saturday, my sister's and I come every year we had a blast but then again we always do. You guys are the best 2 thumbs up and a 5 *

This water park was great! I was surprised by how large it was, being that it was in the zoo, but it has separate quarters. The kids had a ball. It was raining and a bit chilly, but it was a great experience and the kids had a great time and memories! So thank you!

Locker areas to small. Not enough of them either. Pavement extremely hot. Unfair rules concerning coolers. Our cooler was stolen last year. Food stands are to expensive also. Come on. Give us a break.

Very fun, very packed. There are a lot of people that go! But there was also tons of stuff to do. There was also a little nursing mothers room tucked off to the side with a rocking chair and changing table.

So much fun but a miserable walk back to the car with little kids. It would be nice if they had shuttles to go around the parking lots like they have at kings island. The parking lot is huge.

This place was so fun! Ability to grab a fast pass as well so you can schedule a ride in advance.

It was ok. It would have been nicer had me and my husband been allowed to drink. They should offer a stamp/wristband for people over 21this way you dont have to carry your ID and possibly lose it . I personally do not take any wallet or anything of value into the park. we could not drink. Kind of a bummer.... besides that the kids loved it.

I was extremely disappointed with the fact only a few slides were open, and the lines took a couple hours. I was board and wanted to go home after awhile. It was extremely overpriced.

Huge, with a wide variety of enjoyable areas for truly all ages from toddler to adult. I definitely want to return.

Amazing place to go on a hot day. If you are a member you get a night at the water park all to yourself. Barely any people there.

This place is amazing and it's for children from all ages from toddlers to youth young adults / adults and you won't be sorry if you and your family visits this place staff was very friendly people in the park were friendly the water slides are dam near as good as Florida theme parks and food and drinks are the same price at any other theme park you at least get more food for the money like there chicken strips and fries if you haven't seen it yet go check it out your kids will love it

Long hot lines. No need for fast pass here, it just holds everyone up spent over an hour in line not going back.

Zoombezi Bay is fantastic for our family. We have 2 young sons and we spent a lot of our summer here this year. Those Gold passes are SOOO worth it. There is plenty to do to keep the kids busy. Between the wave pool, roaring Rapids, and the little waterfall area our 3 year old has a blast and when, we have an extra adult, our 8 year old loves the slides. They do get crowded but normally the slides are what is most impacted by the crowds. I've seen lines with almost no one in them and I've seen the lines all the way full. Going early in the season and late in the season seems to be best if you want to beat the crowds. They do have multiple food stands though, in my opinion, it is worth it to bring your own food in a cooler. I know their food is expensive because it goes back to running the parks but, I've not really found anything yet that actually tastes very good, so between the price and the not so fantastic food, it just isn't worth it to eat there.

It's a REALLY long walk to get in there. It's enjoyable once inside but honestly that walk may prevent me from ever going back....

Very expensive. Lines are long about 1.5 hours in line. 5 hours of park only used 5 features lazy river and wave pool was 2 of them. Food very expensive and not good. Drinks over 10 bucks for first one, small discounts on refills. Don't plan on going again.

It's so much fun, the only fault is the food. They need a nice restaurant that you can sit down at and enjoy. I understand it's tailored towards family fun, but the zoo and water park is a nice place for a couple to enjoy as well. You see many younger and older couples there without children. I mean they have an adults only lazy river where you can drink alcohol, so let's get a restaurant. Anyway, we had a great time and will be back for our second day pass sometime soon.

Zoombezi Bay, the most accessible locally located water park. It's well maintained and the private cabanas are really good for folks to celebrate any special days!It may sound pricey but two day passes and season passes makes it all worth. Family night, Movie night and more activities makes you come again and again.construction is on going and I see more rides are being added along with picnic grove

Nice clean and efficient, very well maintained and polite staff....plus you get to visit the zoo at the same time ( your ticket includes access to the zoo!!!)

My little one loved it!!! Shes almost 2, and there was plenty for her to do. We didn't get to go down any of the slides/rides, but we were content sitting around the splash area. Very clean. Will definitely be back!!

They have multiple slides, a wave pool, an adult lazy river/kid lazy river, kid slides, toilet bowl slides etc. it's basically a giant water park full of endless fun. I didn't go to the zoo part but I had a blast at the water park... They have regular admission passes and family season passes!!!

I just had to pick up my friend's daughter, who kind of got stranded there. The parking lot girl was extremely nice and didn't make me pay and directed me where to go.

The rides were great, park is nice and clean. Workers are friendly. The lines were slow moving at times on the bigger rides.

Rides, slides, kids area, wave pool and a 21 and over creek area. If you have time I'd suggest going later in the day, easier to find a place to sit together, lines were shorter for the water slides. We brought a small cooler with a couple of subs and water. Otherwise they have the usual food choices and small selection of beer. We rented a locker so no worries about valuables. If I were to go with a large group of look at renting a Cabana. A good time, don't forget the sun screen and definitely have water shoes, the ground gets hot, so go and enjoy

This is a very nice waterpark. They are also bringing back the feel of Wyandotte Lake. I was so excited to see that the roller coaster I used to ride as a child was back. The disappki ting part is we were there for a special event with my place of employment that allowed us there until 11p. There were a good number of children there and they closed all the kids areas down. Some kids can not be in the wave pool. This nice part though was even though the air was getting cool the water was warm.

Great place to relax with your family or go to the adult side and chill and drink a little

First off, ZoomPass is a lifesaver if you are willing to spend the extra cash. The idea that you can virtually get in line and do other activities while your timer counts down is great, yet we did feel bad passing so many people at times. Though they have access to buy the same pass if they are willing and capable. Luckily we went on a Sunday because the Saturday before, an attendance record was set and I might have strangled my wife. Being a Zoo annual member, we were able to enter front gates and buy our waterpark pass with no line at the gate to Zoombezi within a few minutes. Overall ,congestion wasn't too bad, kids had a great time and food is well priced. Didn't have alcohol but it seemed reasonable.

Better go during the week or be able to afford a fast pass. If not be prepared to spend up to two hours and forty minutes in line for a 30 second ride. Fast passes are a form of classism. Becareful what type of snacks you take they will be confiscated. Best to leave them in your car and go to the car when you need to.

Lots of fun and the water was mostly clean. Only the crocktail Creek was in need of cleaning.

Several things to do and nice environment. Parking is a bit of a pain. The main problem is that if you don't have the season pass. You'll most likely have wait a long time on getting on rides since there is no limit to how many times you can keep going through the express line

Best water park in USA for kids IMO. Love it. I went in evening and it's best because water is warm and less people. Fantastic and not too big of a place. Rides, slides and things are well designed.

BEST PLACE EVER! When I went, at the bamboon lagoon. Not a lot of slides were open. But I’ll let it slide.

We always have a great time. The zoom pass really pisses me off because I get separated from my children. At one ride there 8 people with zoom passes permitted between 2 of my children and myself and another of my children. My kids at to wait at the bottom for 4 groups to go before I could catch up to them. Crocktail Creek is always a favorite and refillable cups at a discount is our fave.

Went a week ago, we loved it, cant wait to go back next month. Did the 2 day pass totally worth it, got to see the zoo and enjoy the waterpark. Recommend 100%. No compaints, everyone was super nice and friendly. Food was great.

Please be careful taking small children to the petting zoo at Columbus zoo. The security team member by the goats told us that they have parasites and asked for my husbands phone number in case if my children become ill.. There were no signs stating that the goats were contagious. After going to the guest relations building becauae obviously I'm concerned for the safety of my 4 children, they imformed me that he told them he never said that to us.. Nobody would tell me their names either. It was the last trip we are taking there.. Very alarming..

Always have a blast with my family & friends when we go to Zoombezi Bay. Was the perfect weather too

ALOT of room, friendly staff, clean restrooms and monitored lockers! Great fun to be had for thrill seekers and those who would rather lounge. Good food and cold beer to be enjoyed as well.

Everyone had a blast!!!. The cyclone ride was fun. Wish I would have went on a weekday. It was really packed!!!!

So much fun!!! Took the kids on the 4th of July and went down every slide multiple times with minimal wait time! Even has an area for younger kids to enjoy. For adults there is a bar, not much of a selection on drinks but the ones they did have were strong and tasty. Beer selection was smaller too, but not a big deal. They have at least one thing for most tastes. The food wasnt too bad, they have a large selection of eats, including Donatos pizza. This is a great place to go to beat the heat and they had plenty of staff there to assist your needs. Way to go guys! You rock!

Fun, expensive....over crowded. Go during week if you can. Lots to do though

The entire family loved it and we could have spent the entire day there.

Had a blast. Enjoyed the whole time there. Fun rides good food and plenty of family fun

Enjoy waiting in the heat for 45 min to get tickets.
