Stanley Petru officiated. at the ceremony nuptial mass. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Etzler of Hallettsville and the bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Charles Patek Jr. of Shiner. Miss Amy Kubena, organist, provided traditional wedding music. Acolytes were Gary Etzler, brother of the bride, and Ronnie Kresta.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an original gown of silk organza over peau de soie, ornamented with daisy embroidery appliques. The Victorian neckline and inset yoke were trimmed with embroidery. Wide cuffs banded the long, puffed sleeves and the skirt attached to the Empire waist cascaded into a full cathedral length train. Her veil of three tiers of imported silk illusion fell to shoulder length and was attached to a headdress of bows made of organza trimmed with pearl beads, daisy appliques and Alencon lace. Her bridal bouquet of white and yellow daisies entwined with English ivy and streamers.

She wore a diamond cross, a gift from the bridegroom. Miss Sandra Etzler, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Diane Etzler, sister of the bride; Miss Patricia Patek, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Karen Janak, Miss Charlene Patek, sister of the bridegroom; and Miss Gloria Urbish. The attendants wore floor length gowns of white lace flocked with daisies with yellow centers over yellow taffeta. The Empire gowns were made with puffed sleeves, Victorian necklines, and gathered skirts.

Yellow ribbon outlined the waistlines forming bows and streamers in back. They wore white gloves, gifts of the bride, and white accessories. The attendants carried keepsake bouquets of yellow and white daisies and their headdresses were made of white daisies and yellow streamers. Judy Henke, the bride's cousin, was flower girl, attired like the other attendants. Best man was Paul Migl and groomsmen were Donald Patek, brother of the bridegroom; Allen Etzler, the bride's cousin; Victor Patek the bridegroom's cousin; Joseph Bujnoch, cousin of the Jim Lee Are Coming bride; and David Patek, cousin of the bridegroom.

David Etzler was ringbearer and witnesses were Joseph Etzler Jr. and Bernard Patek of Houston. Ushers were Leon Etzler, Raymond Gaidusek, Pat Kocian and Edwin Shimek. Both mothers wore yellow knit ensembles with white accessories and daisy corsages. Special guests were grandparents of the couple, Mrs.

Christine Kristek, Alfred Etzler, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Heiman and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Patek Sr.

Miss LeeAnn Bludau, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. She was dressed similar to the maid of honor and carried a basket of mums and seafoam. Billy Mitchon served as ringbearer. Everett Bludau was best man and groomsmen were Barry Chovanetz, Charles Bludau, Lawrence Bludau, Marvin Orsak, Hilbert Bludau Jr. and Marty Bludau.
